What's included in a new roof?
A full replacement typically includes stripping the old roof, new breathable underlay, treated battens, your chosen slate or tile, new ridge and verge, fresh lead flashings, and removal of all waste.
How long will a new roof last?
It depends on the material. Natural slate can last 80–100 years or more, while quality fibre-cement and concrete tiles typically give 40–60 years. We'll talk you through the options.
Will my home and garden be protected during the work?
Yes. We use proper scaffolding, sheet up to protect your property and gardens, and keep the site tidy throughout, with a full clean-up at the end.
Can you improve insulation and ventilation at the same time?
Absolutely — a re-roof is the ideal time to upgrade attic ventilation and insulation, helping reduce condensation and heat loss. We'll include it in the quote if you'd like.
